The National Training Academy (NTA) signed a protocol of cooperation with the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) on Sunday, March 3, 2024, to exchange experiences in technological fields and advanced training programs to polish the digital skills of future leaders. This step stems from the keenness of the NTA and NTRA to strengthen cooperation ties between both parties to develop human cadres in line with developing modern technologies and preparing specialized cadres capable of meeting the needs of the labour market, in the light of the state's strategy to realise a comprehensive digital transformation.
The agreement was signed by the Executive Director of the National Training Academy Dr. Rascha Ragheb, and the Executive President of the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA).
Eng. Hossam El-Gamal stressed that the signing of the cooperation protocol with the NTA comes within the framework of NTRA’s keenness to establish strategic partnerships with pioneering scientific and practical institutions in the fields of training and digital development for young leaders. This is to ensure raising awareness of the opportunities and challenges of the process of digital transformation rapidly tackled by Egypt.
At the beginning of her word, Dr. Rascha Ragheb congratulated Eng. Hossam El-Gamal for being selected for the membership of the inaugural Digital Innovation Board of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) as endorsed by the Union in February 2024. She also praised the cooperation with the NTRA, stressing that this protocol "will raise the level of digital skills and reduce cyber risks in Egypt, by providing a range of various training programs to meet the needs of the labour market. Additionally, it aligns with NTA’s plan to sign cooperation agreements its vision of investing in human capital, our most important inexhaustible wealth.”
