The Executive Director of the National Training Academy (NTA) Dr Rascha Ragheb received Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania Luminita Odobescu, Ambassador of Romania to Cairo Olivia Nodiran, and their accompanying delegation on Monday, October 21, 2024, to discuss means of cooperation between the NTA and Romanian institutions working in the field of leadership, in the light of strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the fields of education and training.
During the visit, Dr. Rascha Ragheb expressed her pride in cooperating with Romania, by stressing the importance of exchanging experiences in developing the human capital. She also stressed that the NTA continuously seeks to enhance training programs which contribute to building human capabilities and introducing leadership cadres.
For her part, Minister Luminita Odobescu expressed her happiness to visit the NTA as she discerned an institution concerned with investing in human capital, especially what has been achieved for youth and women in terms of the unique rehabilitation and empowerment within the efforts of Egypt in this regard.
The visit featured a tour of NTA’s buildings as well as a meeting with trainees of the Women Lead for Executives (WLFE). The meeting titled "Women, Peace, and Security" discussed some important international issues and challenges and the means to their elimination, along with an open discussion with the WLFE trainees. In the meantime, Luminita Odobescu expressed her admiration for all NTA’s activities, especially those related to training and qualifying women, while listening to the suggestions and inquiries raised by the trainees as well.
In her word, Minister Odobescu thanked Dr. Rascha Ragheb for inviting her to the Academy and commended her for the significant contribution the NTA had in building and developing the human capital, as well as empowering women in various leadership positions in the country.
