VNG International is the international cooperation agency of the Association of the Dutch Municipalities. VNG (the Association) is one of the oldest and strongest local government associations in the world. The primary aim of VNG International is to support the strengthening of public and local government institutions around the world, using long and broad experience in the domain of governance and social change, and following an approach built on peer-to-peer exchange of knowledge and experiences.
VNGI believes that the whole world shares the same global ambitions and challenges, but the offered solutions to these challenges must be customized only to fit with the context of each community.
